Bandung is the capital city of West Java, and the third largest city in Indonesia after Jakarta and Surabaya. Nicknamed Parijs van Java (Paris of Java) by the Dutch for its resemblance to Paris and European atmosphere back at the colonial times. Bandung also earned another nickname as Kota Kembang, literally meaning the Flower City since Bandung used to have a lot of flowers.

Located at the altitude of 768m with the surroundings of lush and beautiful Parahyangan mountains makes the climate mild and pleasant. The city has been well known for the universities, apparel products and a great place for gastronomic adventure. Nowadays, Bandung has become a very popular weekend escape for Jakartans, who would crowd the city on weekends and national holidays.

 The moment i became a six days Rupiah millionaire in Indonesia last week, i spent most of my money in Bandung. why Bandung not Jakarta?? the only reason is because Bandung is a shopping paradise. there are a lot of factory outlets in Bandung town. you will never miss it and you should not miss it..

Prior to our departure to Bandung, Pak Supir had booked 3 rooms for us in Grand Perdana Wisata which is located at Jalan Sudirman. Perdana Wisata Hotel is located in the heart of Bandung, making it easier for us to travel almost everywhere.

Basically, i didn't do very special thing there. just getting taking shower, charging my mobile phone and rest. last but not least, SLEEP!!! What else I could do there? the next morning we checked out from the hotel and heading to Jakarta for 2 days and a night.
