Assalamualaikum dan salam sejahtera. 1st of all selamat menyambut bulan ramadhan al mubarak bagi mereka yg beragama Islam. hopefully thn ini kita mendapat barakah dan kurniaNya.. Amin.. make sure puasa cukup 30 hari...

lama rasanya tak update blog ni. nothing special yang nak dikongsi sebenarnya.. cuma baru2 ni 15 Julai  saya berkesempatan berjumpa dan bergambar dengan salah seorang idola saya.. mayb ada yang dah tak kenal dengan jejaka berkaca mata berambut pendek dan berjanggut ini sebab imej sekarang dan dahalu sangat jauh berbeza. inilah dinamakan penghijraan.suatu yang dituntut..berubah ke arah kebaikan.. walaupun cuma sempat bersua sekitar sejam saya boleh rumuskan beliau seorang yang merendah diri, peramah dan kaya dengan senyuman (petua untuk kelihatan sentiasa muda bilangnya..hehe)

actually beliau datang ke sandakan atas urusan mengadakan ceramah agama but unfortunately saya tidak berkesempatan untuk mengikutinya akibat tersalah tempat. dapat maklumat bahawa beliau akan mengadakan ceramah di masjid daerah sandakan tetapi sebenarnya beliau mengadakan ceramah di dewan masyarakat sandakan. jd.melepaslah saya ;-(

well, kalau dah kata darah photographer tu mengalir dalam badan ke mana saja beliau pergi pasti takkan lekang dari cameranya. sempat juga beliau memberi tips2 dan nasihat2 berkenaan photography. bilangnya beliau lebih berminat utk mengambil gambar2 pemandangan dan alam ciptaan Tuhan.. jd senang saja lah tak perlu cari model2.hehe so kami outing sekitar pasar besar sandakan...

Burger Bakar Abang Burn

you must be crazy!

Actually it happened when I dropped by at my sis's house yesterday evening to take some 'mangga apple muda' and she asked me whether I have tried the Burger Bakar or not? I said not yet and of course curiosity got hold of me and I decided I got to try this giant burger to see how's the taste like. So we decided to go to the Ampang and luckily us the queue was not as long as the one at Wangsa Maju..

When we arrived, I was looking for Kaw Kaw because I saw it in Jalan-Jalan Cari Makan. I am not sure why it is called Abang Burn instead..

I looked around at the staff. No one seems to be slacking around. It is very well organized. Two chefs were barbecuing the meat patties and deep frying the chicken patties. It looks like a factory line where around two staffs were diligently toasting the bread, arranging the cooked patties on them, putting the sauce and packing.

They were all wearing gloves, so hygiene was the least of anyone’s concern. I looked curiously at their raw patties. They are definitely home made, perhaps it is going to be worth every ringgit that I am going to pay I think...

Now to the burgers. They are good and value for money, (for the period). Flame grilled burgers tends to be more juicier. Besides, the marinade used in Burger Bakar must be something special. Both me and my brother-in-law could taste a hint of fresh black pepper and herbs in the meat patty with generous serving of chili sauce, mixed greens, mayonaise in between 2 burger buns.

The burger was fabulously delicious. It wasnt too dry or too wet. Its definitely worth a second trip. Thumbs up to the owner and founder of Burger Bakar Kaw Kaw and Abang Burn. You have created another milestone in our Malaysian street food fare. Im sure  going back for more..

Assalamuaikum..

don't know where to start.. yes I'm in KK right now.. attending a course here.. nothing much special about this course to write.. but I'm more interested to write about my room.. I'm staying at Best Western Kinabalu Daya Hotel. The best thing about this hotel is that is centrally located, a few minutes from the KK seafront, and a walking distance to several shop malls like the Centre Point, Wisma Merdeka and the Suria Sabah, banks, and Kampung Air night market. It is easy to get around in the city 

For me the room size for two person is good, might be a bit cramped for more than that at the same time. The room is clean. I would say that the double bed room is larger than the one big bed room (where a friend of mine is staying) the only problem is there is no window in my room.

I was expecting basic but clean accommodation ;-)

so tonight I'm going to Upperstar Pepper Grill and Bar (opposite to Burger King at the Segama Commercial Centre) with my BFF Leri Alfred to fulfill my appetite with my all fav lamb chop. its a must there! it a great place to hang out too. Especially for teens (like me..huahuahua)!

This place has a good range of western and Asian foods.. you name it they have it. There aren't too many places in KK that will have cheap good foods but Upperstar seems to make it quite cheap. go and try it yourself!

Oh God..Allahuakbar! It's been over nine months since my last post and im so bad at this blogging thing! seriously i feel so awkward!

well, i have been a bit slack with updating, been busy with these and that..but this honour is officially the motivation i need to update my blog more often. i probably have lots of new readers by now and i can't let them down!

So before the next post i just want to take the time to say sorry for not saying 'Hi' more often and telling you what im up to these days. sorry again for not asking how are you how do you do.. sorry for not socializing more with you. Yup, i really missed you guys.. really missed the moments.. if only i could turn back time.. life never be the same again..

Well some update of myself..what am I listening to right now?  keep on repeating Stop and Stare by One Republic. i don't know why...maybe its just me.the lyrics..so deep.. every time i hear this song i feel like crying... ;-(

I like this place

it so happened when my little sister called a friend of her after we had finish our dinner at the Satay Station last night while we were at the pasar malam (night market) at Jalan TAR just to fill our spared time since we had nothing to do and it been ages ago since my last time being there. i found nothing special to spend my money there so we drove straight away to Solaris Dutamas at Jalan Duta to try this so-called Tutti Frutti.

before i tried Tutti Frutti i was a huge Yogur Berry fan. i especially loved Yogur Berry since it's very close to my former work place in Bukit Bintang. My only problem with Yogur Berry was that their yogurt is very soft and melts so quickly!

this place is definitely the best self-serve yogurt place

i pumped out 3 flavors. strawberry banana, passion fruit and chocolate. fresh strawberries, lychees and peaches for topping

Tutti Frutti has an extremely pleasant, clean, cool, bright atmosphere which is i like the most. The worker is really friendly and they keep this place spotless (even the bathroom) and the tables are never sticky at all.

They were all very good, healthier and had a lot richer flavor than some of the other places i've tried. I definitely will come again to try some other flavors.

satay station!

our mission to had a dinner at the Satay Station last week was un-accomplished due of my niece, Ata Aziz was not feeling well. my sister texted me and postponed it to the next week..but i cant help myself. the satay (chicken or beef skewers) and mee rebus (noodles with a spicy slightly sweet curry-like gravy) have both been playing in my mind since then right after my sister (the food goddess) told me about this particular 'makan' place.

well, a week passed and there we were sitting at the Satay Station finally. went there a bit earlier around 5.30pm for two main reasons: trying to avoid the crazy crowd and of course the biggest fear of all-the traffic jam.

luckily this time when we reached there no private functions or birthday party being held. the timing is just right for us where the crowd is not yet that bad only a few here and there. we were so lucky again because we managed to grab a seat in the house inside this lovely room.

for me the interior of the house is very well decorated. it was nice well decorated with Malay traditional house and the "kampung" atmosphere they've created at this place. there are 2 rooms and 2 sections in the house which offers 6 tables altogether. in one of the section, there's even a TV set provided. The rooms are for those who wants more privacy, i guess.

It didn't took that long for the food to arrive at our table. well, it shouldn't actually since they only have 2 things here- the mee rebus and satay. The mee rebus is pre-prepared, so they only have to prepare the satay then.

so we ordered 20 sticks for chicken satay, 20 sticks for beef satay, 5 bowls of mee rebus and a jug of fresh green apple with assam boi. 

i tell you the meats on each satay is chunky and lean with little fat or skin, which would take at least three bites for the average person like me to finish it.
