the Four-door finally mine!

bigger fridge means easier to organize?

This is the four-door Hitachi fridge which i bought yesterday. i've been dreaming of using this type of fridge since ages ago and now Alhamdulillah thanks to Allah its finally mine! i dont know, eventhough i live alone, i still have problems with my old two-door LG fridge i mean in term of its storage capacity. still not enough for me and i need a bigger one (the problem is i like to buy foods without any purposes or reasons).

i like to see my foods in neat proper order and i hate it when i open the door and eggs falling out from nowhere.. its really too much!

i've been surveying on fridges since a couple of months ago and i was keen on Samsung's double french doors fridges but this not-so-latest model by Hitachi has bowled me over! finally i made up my mind to chose Hitachi based on its size, design and i think this is one of the best refrigerators as compared to all other refrigerators in it class available in the market. I like the cooling factor that helps you in saving of electricity and also your money and its water dispenser is conveniently integrated in the front door area anytime time that u need it..
sold my two-door LG fridge to my friend for only Rm300

Somehow, somewhere i’ve come to the conclusion that no matter how big the fridge may be, there’s will be never enough storage space. i might be thinking of buying a bigger and more doors fridge in the future..  woooooo

tutti frutti

I like this place
it so happened when my little sister called a friend of her after we had finish our dinner at the Satay Station last night while we were at the pasar malam (night market) at Jalan TAR just to fill our spared time since we had nothing to do and it been ages ago since my last time being there. i found nothing special to spend my money there so we drove straight away to Solaris Dutamas at Jalan Duta to try this so-called Tutti Frutti.
SOLARIS DUTAMAS OUTLET
A4-G2-06, Solaris Dutamas,
No.1, Jalan Dutamas 1, 50480 Kuala Lumpur.

before i tried Tutti Frutti i was a huge Yogur Berry fan. i especially loved Yogur Berry since it's very close to my former work place in Bukit Bintang. My only problem with Yogur Berry was that their yogurt is very soft and melts so quickly!
this place is definitely the best self-serve yogurt place
i pumped out 3 flavors. strawberry banana, passion fruit and chocolate. fresh strawberries, lychees and peaches for topping

Ayin's :: vanilla, chocolate and passion fruit. oreo and peaches for topping

I absolutely love the passion fruit flavor
nice place, good location. my BFF told me
SOOOO much more refreshing! the flavors are the BEST- real healthy yogurt that is delicious!
mmm yummy yogurt!!
Tutti Frutti has an extremely pleasant, clean, cool, bright atmosphere which is i like the most. The worker is really friendly and they keep this place spotless (even the bathroom) and the tables are never sticky at all.
this place just opened 3 months ago
just sharing the price. the yogurt is really good but price a bit costly
choose and add-in your fav topings
more toppings to choose

They were all very good, healthier and had a lot richer flavor than some of the other places i've tried. I definitely will come again to try some other flavors.
before went home tapau some more for mama and Azza's mum..
with that kind of price this are the size of the small cup

nasi lewet bandung..

I've heard a lot about the uniqueness of having lunch or dinner at a authentic Sundanese restaurant but never have the opportunity yet until last week during my trip to Indonesia. i dont really remembered whats the restaurant's name that my sister recommended since she went there just a few weeks before. i always believe what she says because for me, my sister and her husband is like a 'dewa-dewi makan' (food god and goddess). they have a very good and high taste in foods. but as long as its Sundanese restaurant it will be ok for me. so we dined at Sari Pawon Restaurant.
me at the enterance. pretty scary!

actually there were 5 of us.

the place definitely looks a bit mysterious for me when i first arrived. just take a look at the entrance. do you see a restaurant or a souvenir shop?

a restaurant of local style
deciding where to sit

lovely place to sit and enjoy our meal. inside a village hut
the path that leads us to our small hut
'ikan kalui' (gurame)

Sari Pawon Restaurant looks like any ordinary restaurant we could find back here in KL, but only from the outside. Once inside, there are cute bamboo huts and serene water features decorations that brought us closer to nature.
'nasi Lewet Nampan Parahiyangan Bandung'
'nasi Lewet Nampan Parahiyangan Bandung' is a delicious and tasteful rice cooked with some herbs and coconut milk normally served with 'ayam opor panggang' (soy sauce roasted chicken), 'ikan masin' (salted fish), 'tahu' (beancurd/tofu), 'tempe' (soybean cake), 'sambal' (spicy chillies condiment), 'kerupuk' (tapioca chips) and 'lalap' (bitter bean, cucumber and fresh basil)
Traditionally, nasi lewet is served on a banana leaf.

overall food was fantastic!
but....................................................
this really made me off!!
what the heck!!! its chicken's head!!!

i still can consider if they served the chicken's feet or chicken's neck or chicken's gizzard or chicken's backside but chicken's head really turned my eating mood off! sorry to say for me it was so gross!

in flight food

i've been flying with MAS since 4 years ago and while their food has improved a lot over the years, delicious was never the adjective to describe the food on board but still tasty  to eat above average. i was flying with MAS again to Bandung and as usual, i acted like an  'orang jakun' taking the pictures of my food and the plane.
So , here's what i had.
i think they tasted average with all the right flavors
i was like "oh no why noodle!!" and to be honest it tasted bad

my lunch box came with everything for a full course meal, the main course was briani rice with chicken curry in flight KL-Bandong while upon flight Bandung-KL they served fried noodle with oyster chicken, the appetizer and desert being the same for both flight which was a slice of fruit cake, and a ferrora rocher.

the briani rice was pretty good
i didnt really like the noodle but i was so hungry like a horse!

well, sorry to say if you're flying on a short distance like KL-JB or SDK-KK (an hour flight or less) don't expect to get any lunch box. you'll only be served a packet of salted peanuts and a cup of juice of your choice normally either orange or pink guava juice

Uniqlo? so?

Uniqlo the Japanese brand has just opened its first outlet in Malaysia after it made a big debut in the neighborhood Singapore recently.. Malaysia’s first Uniqlo store opening at Fahrenheit 88 which formerly known as Kl Plaza in the heart of Kl shopping district, the Golden Triangle- Bukit Bintang.

the entereance
im not a big fan of this brand, heck i don't even own one. just wanna to explore and find out what and why everybody keeps on talking about it..so i texted a friend of mine, Nizuan asking wherether he interested to join me and he answered 'yes, i would like to!'..then we met each other at the klsentral since he drives all the way from damansara..finally, we went there at about 3pm, just for the thrills and to see the bloody madness about it.

Before that we had our lunch at the Chee Meng an authentic Hainanese chicken rice..the place itself looks very ordinary but of course we cant judge the book by its cover. so we ordered the signature dish, the chicken rice and i must admit they are quite delicious and the most important thing is despite the name which is very Chinese but this restaurant serves halal foods.
You won’t regret it
Anyway, these are how Uniqlo Kl looks like. so huge, so bright, so fun..
dont worry they accept credit card..

nice huh?
In the store, you’ll find garments from simple t-shirts to formal wear to winter wear. in my view, Uniqlo’s line of clothes is for the simple and functional consumer at an affordable price with awesome quality. the fabric used for most of their garments were soft and comfortable too.
my concern is the size, I want size S!!!
Everybody seems to be buying everything like its end of the world.. but some of the stuffs are kinda tacky and way out of the Malaysian weather spectrum.they have a lot of pretty winter wears this season. Affordable too.. but too bad Malaysia is hot, hot, HOT! its winter season out there! shall wait for the next season then.. nothing much for me though, but i did manage to get some stuffs.
sekadar menambah2kan hutang..
But overall, i love the outlet, prices and clothes. it’s going onto my regular places to shop list... kot

finally revealed!

as usual, i wont go home without anything in my hand.. been searching what to put inside the box since last thursday evening.. then i suddenly remembered that everywhere in Sandakan we can find cheap fresh seafood.. Sandakan has rich diversity of marine life with a large variety of seafood, most of which i rarely had before (because its very costly back here in KL).. The seafood is very fresh. The price are affordable and reasonable.. heaven for seafood lovers like me..

so, the time has come so lets me reveal what inside my polystyrene box even the Customs people at the airport cannot traced it..hehe
(consider myself as a smuggler)
what inside this white polystyrene box???

I love fish, any kind of fish and of course king mackerel (Tenggiri) is always my all time favorite. unfortunately found none of it at the market.. so, i decided just to buy the red snapper since it looked very fresh and it has a great, firm texture and a sweet, nutty flavor..
2 red snappers appx 2kg each (Rm10/kg)
the flounder makes my mouth water just thinking about it! At any rate, flounder are one of my favorite fish.
2 flounders appx 1 kg each (Rm7/kg)
i always wanted ketam masak lemak cili padi dengan nenas all this year around.. i just cant get enough of it.. i suppose you can call it crabs cooked in spicy coconut gravy with pineapples. i like the surprise of cracking it's tough shell and see if i've hit the flesh jackpot.. for this time i managed to find some flower crabs instead of stone crabs which are more solid flesh and for a lack of a better word, are crunchier and more filling..
2kg of big fresh crabs (Rm10/kg)
a very best friend of mine text-ed me if there any calamari there in sandakan.. i said dont worry i'll find some for you..
1.5kg of big fresh calamaris (Rm15/kg)
there's nothing in this world can beat my mum's cooking especially when she cooks fish head curry! a signature of her own.. The texture of the flesh from the fish head is so smooth and surprisingly there was quite a lot of flesh to eat. As my sister did not like the idea of eating the head, my mum added fish fillet so that she can enjoy the dish as well. i love every single thing from the fish head except the eye balls..

i still remember when I was a child, my brother chased me around with a  fish head and he convinced me that the fish was going to eat me up! hahaha very funny...
a very delicious fish head curry cooked by my mum

fish head curry goes well with fried salted fish.. a very good combination. simply delicious.. these salted gelama fish were given by miss Zila all the way from Tawau.. so sedap!

fried salted gelama fish with big onions and cili padi
so there you go.. a hand carry box of almost 10kg! no wonder my arms feel so ache!!

BMI

Assalamualaikum dan salam 1 Malaysia...

malam td dengan penuh semangat sebelum tidur sudah plan mau gi jogging or brisk walking since aku timbang berat aku malam td amatlah memeranjatkan.. tidak percaya tp itulah hakikatnya..BMI aku yg aku maintain dari Normal bertahun2 lamanya skrg dah masuk ke fasa Over Weight!!! how scary.. i need to do something.. again unfortunately pagi ini hujan sepoi-sepoi bahasa.. luckily i have plan B.. workout dlm bilik sahaja..

so skrg ni aku serius untuk menurunkan berat aku at least 5kg untuk mendapatkan berat yg ideal semula..
